step 1 open thunderbird and go to tools,
account settings
step 2 click add account
step 3 select email account and click next
step 4 enter your name, your full email address, and click
next
step 5 enter mail.yourwebsitename in the incoming field
for example: mail.greeneandassoc.com
you will need to use your ISP's mail server for the outgoing
field, possible examples: (pop.phnx.qwest.net, smtp.west.cox.net,
smtp.earthlink.net)
click next
step 6 enter your full email
address in the account name field and click
next
step 7 enter your name and click next
step 8 click finish
step 9 check your email and you will get a pop-up asking
for your password, enter it and select use password manager
to remember this password, and click ok
step 10 send yourself a test message and check to confirm
you receive it
